Rosan Perkasa Roeslani is appointed as Minister of Investment and Downstreaming on the 21st of October 2024. He is also the CEO of Daya Anagata Nusantara (Danantara), Indonesia sovereign wealth fund, since 24th February 2025. Previously, he is appointed as Vice Minister of State Owned Enterprises on the 17th July 2024. He is Indonesia Ambassador to the United States from 2021 to 2023. Known as Indonesia’s businessman, he started his professional career in the financial and entrepreneurship sector. He is the Financial Advisor of Indonesia Batik Cooperation Association (1997 – 2002) and Vice Treasurer of Indonesia Young Entrepreneurs Association (2005-2008). He led Indonesia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) in 2015-2021.
Mr Andreas Schaal is the Director for OECD Global Relations and Co-operation, as well as the OECD Sherpa to the G7, the G20 and APEC. In these functions, he supports and co-ordinates the OECD’s contributions to global governance under the leadership of OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann. In close co-ordination with OECD Members and the OECD’s External Relations Committee, he and his team implement the OECD Global Relations Strategy, engaging with over 100 partner countries around the globe at the ministerial level and building a global level playing field by increasing adherence to OECD standards and policies. Andreas’ expertise includes two decades of conceptional and strategic work on foreign affairs, national, international and global economic policy, and global governance. He is responsible for the OECD’s relations with Brazil, China, India, Indonesia and South Africa as well as with Southeast Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean, South East Europe, Eurasia, and the Middle East and North Africa.
The OECD Global Relations and Cooperation Directorate, which he oversees and manages, includes around 100 team members. Under Andreas’ leadership, it supports the Secretary-General’s objectives for a regionally inclusive and globally relevant Organisation. Between 2013-2016, he served the organisation as the Head of the Sherpa Office and the Global Governance Unit at the OECD and between 2013-2018 as the G20 Sous Sherpa. Since joining the OECD in 2008, he has also held positions as a Senior Policy Analyst in the Investment Division of the Directorate for Financial Markets and Enterprise Affairs, and as Counsellor in the Office of the Secretary General.
Prior to joining the OECD, Mr Schaal held various positions during his work for the German Federal Government, including: Deputy Director G8 Summit/German Sherpa Office, Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Technology; Economic Counsellor, German Permanent Delegation to the OECD, Paris; Vice Chair (elected 2005-2006) of the OECD’s Economic and Development Review Committee (EDRC); and Policy Advisor and Chief of Staff to Parliamentary Secretary of State Siegmar Mosdorf, MP, Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Technology.
Andreas Schaal is a non-Resident Senior Fellow of the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at Renmin University of China (RDCY). A German national, he holds a Masters in Public Policy and Public Management from the University of Konstanz, Germany.
Calista Redmond is the Vice President of Global AI Initiatives at NVIDIA, where she leads strategic collaborations with regions, ecosystem partners, and product groups to advance Sovereign AI and national AI programs worldwide. Her work focuses on helping nations build digital resilience, local innovation capacity, and AI ecosystems aligned with their cultural and economic priorities.
Before joining NVIDIA, Calista served as CEO of RISC V International, driving global adoption of the open RISC V instruction set architecture across industry, academia, and government. Previously, she spent more than a decade at IBM in leadership roles including VP of the IBM Z Ecosystem as well as open-source initiatives such as the Open Mainframe Project, OpenPOWER, and OpenDaylight.
Earlier in her career, Calista was an entrepreneur in four successful technology start-ups. She holds degrees from the University of Michigan and Northwestern University and is based in Washington, D.C.
Craig Cogut has spent a career building successful investment businesses. Mr. Cogut founded Pegasus, a private equity fund, in 1995 and serves as its Chairman and CEO, and is a member of the management committee and the investment committee. Through Mr. Cogut’s leadership, Pegasus has focused on sectors influenced by global resource scarcity and the need to combat climate change, as well as on the growth in demands globally for human health and wellness, leading to Pegasus becoming the first U.S. private equity fund manager to be accredited by the Green Climate Fund.
In 1990 Mr. Cogut co-founded and was one of the original partners at Apollo Advisors L.P., a position he held for six years preceding the creation of Pegasus. Mr. Cogut is currently Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of PanTheryx. In addition, Mr. Cogut has been an active philanthropist in the fields of improving education, building civil society and championing environmental and health issues. Mr. Cogut currently serves as Chairman of the finance advisory board of the Global Alliance for a Sustainable Planet, a non-profit focused on leveraging private finance for public good in order to achieve sustainable development goals. Mr. Cogut is an alumnus of Brown University and Harvard Law School.
Dr. Enki Tan is the Executive Chairman of Giti Tire, a leading global tire manufacturer with production facilities in China, Indonesia, and the United States. The company’s products are sold in more than 130 countries and supplied to over 200 OEM vehicle platforms worldwide.
Dr. Tan is a respected global advocate for conservation, sustainability, and responsible industrial leadership. Under his leadership, Giti Tire is cutting emissions across its vast operations and supply chain while improving profitability──achieving “net zero at net zero cost”──by embedding sustainability into its core business model. Through its AdvanZtech technology, Giti develops tires that reduce fuel consumption and energy loss, specifically catering to the growing Electric Vehicle (EV) market.
Beyond industry, Dr. Tan has devoted significant effort to advancing environmental protection and nature-based solutions. He serves on the Board of Conservation International, and is the Founding Chairman of Konservasi Indonesia, where he has supported marine and terrestrial conservation initiatives across Southeast Asia, and initiated the “Blue Halo S” a ‘production-protection’ concept for sustainable fisheries. His commitment extends to funding ocean scientific expeditions, and supporting whale shark conservation and satellite tracking projects.
Dr. Tan is associated with the National University of Singapore’s Centre for Nature-Based Climate Solutions, contributing to science-driven approaches that integrate climate action, biodiversity protection, and sustainable development.
In addition to Giti Tire, Dr. Tan holds senior leadership roles in numerous organisations, namely, PT Gajah Tunggal, Gul Technologies, Gtech Digital Co, and the Giti Holding and Nuri Group of companies. He is also a Member of the Board of Governors for Asian School of Business and the World Economic Forum’s Automotive and New Mobility Group, and Member of the China Advisory Committee of the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Dr. Tan holds an MBBS from the University of Sydney and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he was a Sloan Fellow.
Patricia has more than 15 years’ experience in the public and private sectors leading global sustainability initiatives for multi-national corporations and the United Nations. She is currently Senior Adviser to the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)’s Nature, Climate and Energy portfolio, which supports over 800 projects across 140 countries in partnership with the Global Environment Facility (GEF), Green Climate Fund and Adaptation Fund, among others.
Prior to joining UNDP, Patricia was the Co-founder and Chair of the OECD Expert Group on Investing in the SDGs and served as the Senior Strategic Advisor and Head of Partnerships to the UN Global Compact in New York. Previously, Patricia served as the Senior Adviser to the UN Under Secretary-General and Executive Director of UN-Habitat, based in their Nairobi headquarters.
Before joining the UN, Patricia was the founding Director of Commercial Sustainability for London-based Willis Group, a global insurance broker. She holds a Master’s in Public Policy and Management from the University of York and advanced studies in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Oxford Saïd Business School.
Ginny is the General Manager of Tech for Society at Microsoft, where she leads a global team working to build trust between technology and the institutions that uphold democracy and civil society. From protecting elections and empowering journalists to advancing human rights, Ginny’s work centers on supporting communities that are often targeted by nation states and too often underserved by tech.
She brings a deep background in politics and technology, having previously led Microsoft’s Democracy Forward initiative and advised national campaigns on data and digital strategy. Recognized for her influence, Ginny has been named to Washingtonian’s “Most Influential People” list each year since 2021 in the categories for National Security and Defense (2021-2023) and for Good Government (2024-2025).
She is a Duke University alum who serves on the board of visitors for the Sanford School of Public Policy. She lives in Arlington, VA with her husband and their three energetic boys — who keep her grounded, inspired, and very busy!
Stella Li is the Executive Vice President of BYD Company Limited and CEO of BYD Americas, Europe, Middle East and Africa. Founded in 1995 and headquartered in Shenzhen, China, BYD boasts a diverse business scope covering automobiles, rolling stock, new energy, and electronics. BYD is committed to building a green transportation system that utilizes electric vehicles to relieve air pollution and Sky Shuttle and Sky Rail to address traffic congestion — leveraging technological innovations for a better life.
Ms. Li joined BYD in 1996 and served as BYD’s Senior Vice President and the Executive Director and CEO of BYD Electronics. During that time, Ms. Li promoted the enterprise’s global business and international presence, including the establishment of BYD’s Hong Kong Office in 1997, BYD European headquarters in Rotterdam in 1999, and first North America headquarters in Chicago in 2000. In 2002, she helped establish a partnership with both Motorola and Nokia, providing the latter with mobile phone batteries and a wide range of components and parts. Ms. Li has cemented extensive partnerships for BYD across the globe and multiple industries and contributed to the company’s growth as it has become a dominant force and one of the world’s leading brands. Her efforts helped transform the company from its beginnings as a battery manufacturer into the innovative and vibrant multinational powerhouse that BYD is today.
In the Americas, Ms. Li has guided a thriving expansion of BYD. In February 2010, she was appointed as President of BYD Americas and in 2011, relocated its headquarters to Los Angeles. She oversaw the successful openings of BYD’s electric buses, trucks, and energy module factories in Lancaster, California in 2013. Under her guidance, BYD has expanded its presence to over 20 countries in the Americas and has offices in 11 countries such as the United States, Canada, Brazil, Chile, and Columbia. BYD products launched in American markets include a full range of EVs from pure electric buses and heavy duty trucks to forklifts and energy products.
Given her success in the Americas, in 2025, Ms. Li was appointed CEO of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. She has overseen the launch and start of production in factory of Brazil and BYD’s new European headquarters and factory in Budapest, Hungary. Under Ms. Li’s vibrant leadership, BYD’s passenger vehicles are now entering 80+ countries and have helped drive BYD’s growth to become the fourth largest OEM in the world. Ms. Li earned her B.A. in Statistics from Fudan University – one of the top 5 universities in China.
